Album Notes

Karmann Powell is a “genetic” musician who has performed from a very young age. Influenced by folk, country, gospel and bluegrass, Karmann’s style is distinctly Americana. Her dynamic vocals set her apart from the crowd. She is a songwriter, as well as an interpreter of other’s songs. She lives in the Bradshaw Mountains near Prescott, AZ.

“Fruit of the Spirit” is Karmann Powell’s first CD, recorded by her husband, Stan. Lynn Goveia co-wrote “Joyful”, “My God” and “Whom Shall I Fear”. Some folks who contributed to the CD include: Pastor Huck Kusner, of Calvary Chapel Black Canyon City, AZ, who played harmonica; Alex Hamm played drums on “Joyful” and Tim Hamm was the drummer for the rest of the CD. John Kelly played bass and his wife, Sharie, added some back up vocals on "Set Your Mind on Things Above".
