Kaseno were formed at the back end of 2006 and after numerous line-up changes have found their feet as one of the most accomplished bands on the Blackpool scene in the last year.

Having reached the final of the Blackpool Gazette Rock Quest competition in December 2007, and as recently as March this year winning the local final of the JD Soundcheck, and earning a place in the regional finals in Manchester, Kaseno’s profile and popularity is constantly on the rise, and is showing no sign of slowing down

And indeed this didn’t happen, in fact Kaseno continued to grow and 2009 was a packed year with gigs at The Blue Room in Blackpool, and The Royal Oak being some of the most memorable

One of the most iconic had to be when Kaseno Supported Night by Night at The Royal Oak

Since this the band has been through some member changes, Bassist Rik Dawson leaving in late 2009 into which Dave Ryan took over the role in early 2010 after having worked closely with front man Pete Searle for the past 8 years.

Over the past few months the band have been working on new material and have started to play regularly slots at open mic nights across Lancashire and with the ball set rolling now, things are moving fast into 2011 and Beyond!

If any band wants to take a risk it's this one, because there's no point wishing for something if you're not willing to stick your neck out a bit. And a little bit of hard work to get where you're going never hurt anyone.
