IRA KASPI

* graduated Berklee College of Music 1990 with a major in vocal performance

* This her debut album is a very personal one - all the lyrics are written by Ira as are most of the compositions

* Her second CD Ira Kaspi & Peter Engberg Duo - Standards is also available on CD Baby

* Ira has performed on radio, TV and most of the jazz-festivals in Finland

* Ira produced a concert with all-original songs for the UMO Jazz Orchestra. This concert containing vocal Big-Band music will soon be recorded and available on CD-Baby. All the lyrics again by Ira- Ira also acted as one of the composers in a team of four (Jarmo Savolainen, Ape Anttila and Ralf Nyqvist)

* Ira teches vocals at the Helsinki pop & jazz conservatory and the Sibelius Academy
