Kat Criswell's long awaited Debut. Featuring a wide range of Adult Contemporary songs conveying her feelings on Life, Love, and Relationships. From the slow hard driving first single "Fall" to the mellow acoustic "Sweet November" and "With Me" with cello accompaniment, Kat's vocal style ranges from Stevie Nicks to Natalie Merchant of 10,000 Maniacs to Melissa Etheridge.
Artist biography: Originally from San Pablo, California and raised in Ohio, Kat has been a musician, songwriter, and performer for most of her life. Her musical experience runs the gamut of contemporary folk rock, acoustic rock, gospel, blues, rock and country. She creatively combines these genres into her own unique playing and singing style. Improvisation is an integral part of Kat's performances at a wide variety of venues including nightclubs, coffee houses, and bookstores as well as larger music festivals in and around Ohio. Her sultry singer/songwriter style and the power-driven music behind it is captivating, entertaining, and poignant. Born into a musical family, Kat began playing guitar at the tender age of 5. She began poetry and songwriting in her pre-teens. Her earliest influences came from her Grandfather & mom as well as her uncles, Rick Blaylock who is a well-known writer in the Nashville circles and Phil Thomas a talented singer and recording artist living in California. Each gifted her with the love of music and taught her how to make it a way of life. She has been doing demo and studio work for the past decade. The old country greats such as Patsy Cline, Loretta Lynn and Sammi Smith also played a vital part in Kat's musical development at an early age. More recently, Kat's influences include Fleetwood Mac, Patty Griffith, Susanna Hoffs, The Eagles, Fiona Apple, Natalie Merchant, Chrissy Hines, Sarah McLachlan and Melissa Etheridge. She is a regular performance favorite at benefits and concerts for Habitat For Humanity, the Musician's Scholarship Fund, community festivals and fairs. She has been performing steadily for the last 4 years and has attracted quite a following.

Phenomenal voice and wonderful musicianship. Friends ask "what does she sound like?", there's really no response. She has her own sound and it's awesome.
