Kate Conlon has been singing and performing as long as she can remember. From belting out "Rock of Ages" at church at the tender age of five, to performing in front of thousands, Kate's passion has always been music. One fateful summer at the age of thirteen, she picked up a guitar and started learning to play. "I started writing all the time," Kate reminisces, "I wrote about my experiences as a teenager...the good, the bad, the ugly.
Things that everyone goes through at some point."
Over the years, she began to develop her skill as both a writer and composer. It wasn't long until her voice was heard and she was approached about doing a demo project. Larger than her booming vocals, however, is her heart for young people. "If I do this, I want to do it for the right reasons," she adds, "There are so many people out there who need to hear a message of hope. I've been there, I know. My hope is that people will begin to realize that there is an incredible life out there worth living, and a God that is real and does care."
Kate has spent the past few years impressing that message on youth in countries all over the world; traveling on mission trips and performing in places most people would never think to go. "The most awesome thing to happen to me so far is after a show, having a girl come up to me and say 'I've never heard God like that before.' My goal is to show people that YEAH, we all make mistakes, but there is a generation of young people rising up who are unwilling to compromise there beliefs because of past imperfections. And if we can get that message out while rockin' at the same time, well, I think we've found ourselves the best of both worlds!" Now that's a voice worth listening to..."

One of the most amazing rookie albums I've ever heard
author: Josiah Martin
This artist can bring the heat. Kate Conlon's album, "Do you Believe?" is the first rookie cd I've heard that really sounds like they've been in this for a long time. The original track, "Do you believe," and "Forgive Me" are personally my two favorite tracks on this album, they really capture the true meaning of Christ's heart, and the true meaning of Alternative rock music. If you don't have this album, you don't know what your missing.
