Katelin is currently residing in Nanaimo, BC but was born and raised in the musical community of Powell River. She moved to nanaimo to go to school and reconnected with her music at the same time. Her background is in classical music but that has moved aside slightly to let her interest in song and social issues unite. Her music sits in the folk rock idiom but has lyrical melodies and haunting texts.
