I decided to call this album "Chrysalis" because of the tremendous personal transformation since my debut EP "Love You Still," released just a few short months ago (Jan. 5, 2011). You'll hear the difference. I'm very proud of what was accomplished with "Love You Still" - it's gotten me this far. But Chrysalis is proof of my growth and I'm excited and hopeful for what's to come. Producer Dylan Fant made "Chrysalis" an experience. If I look at it as though I "whittled the bones" of these songs, he breathed life into them. I look forward to working with him in the future.
