"I love singing along to your songs as I drive in my car!" "I sing your songs as I take my walk each morning." "These songs go through my head and make me feel happy." This is the kind of feedback I get on "Heart Of My Love". Fifteen spiritually uplifting and heart-opening songs that sing of the divinity and interconnectedness of all. They have been used by Threshold Choir, women's song circles, in church services from Unity to Unitarian, and I'm receiving requests by other artists to record them. The depth of Love and the beauty of the teachings of H.H. Sai Maa Lakshmi Devi, a great spiritual teacher living in Colorado, inspired this CD. Done basically in a cappella arrangements, with some supporting Indian drone instruments and percussion, the moods range from deeply devotional, as in 'Guru Mantra' and 'Mother'; to playful, as in 'I Love Me', 'Pas De Problème' (No Problem), and 'Fast-Track To Heaven'; from joyful as in 'All I See', and 'Divine Love'; to expansive, as in 'Light Blessing' and 'Ocean of Peace". A majority of the songs are in English, with two songs in Sanskrit, two in French, and three in both French and English, in honor of the languages H.H. Sai Maa speaks and of the international communities she touches. The song notes contain all the lyrics and translations. Enjoy!
