“Metamorphosis”

North Hollywood- based singer-songwriter Rod Soriano is a self-
taught music theorist, guitarist and vocalist. Raised in Tujunga, Rod’s
musical influences include British and classic rock. A veteran to the
L.A. music scene, Rod co-wrote and co-produced Ocean Hero,
"Leander," an eclectic jam record, and Aether, "Drowning and
Waving," an up-beat meld between hip-hop and rock.
Rod has spent the last year writing and co-producing
“Metamorphosis,” Katerpillar’s debut album, and is currently working
to build a four-piece back-up band to play the Southern California
music circuit starting October 2003. With melodic verses and creative
lyrics, "Metamorphosis" stands out as a fresh face in rock music. This
intense musical journey begins with the impassioned rock track,
"GIVE," and then changes gears to display a diversity of musical skills in
the groove-rhythm track "FLEXTONE." We continue the journey
with heartfelt melodies like "BEEN THERE" and "WHAT’S ON
YOUR MIND." As a finale, Katerpillar performs "EL TIEMPO,"
giving the album a Latin-rock touch. “Metamorphosis” returns Rod to
his rock roots with ten original compositions guaranteed to leave
listeners wanting more.
