This Is The Best Christmas - Kathi Carey and Friends.

When Kathi & Dave wrote this song they had spent close to 20 Christmases together. They met singing in a band and music has always been a big part of their lives together. During a Christmas program at their church, their friend Jerald Lee gave a talk entitled "This Christmas is the Best Christmas." Two hours after church was over, Kathi and Dave had written this song. It just goes to show that your mother was right -- you should never fall asleep during church.

Track 1: Kathi Carey -- multi-hyphenate, multi-talented entertainer. As a singer, Kathi has worked the main showrooms in Las Vegas, Lake Tahoe and Reno with celebrities such as Roy Clarke, Bill Cosby and Peggy Fleming, to name a few. Having written hundreds of original compositions and arrangements, Kathi and her husband Dave are pleased to introduce you to a new Christmas classic -- "This is The Best Christmas."

Track 2: Kevin Bachelder. Kathi and Dave wanted to use singers on their CD who were great musicians as well as great friends. Kevin Bachelder is both. A graduate of Berklee College of Music, he has also received his Masters from the USC jazz program. He has sung backup for Steve Miller and has a unique sound that combines blues and rock. Kathi and Dave enjoy singing with him at church.

Track 3: Bill Horn got his first guitar for Christmas when he was 10 and started performing at Disneyland at the age of 11. He's an award-winning vocalist and guitarist, having received the European Country Music Assn's "Band of the Year" award as well as California CMA's "Lead Guitar Player of the Year" award. He's a good friend and colleague.

Track 4: Gerald White works primarily in Los Angeles as a session singer. Some of his recent credits include "The Simpsons," "Happy Feet," "Spiderman 3," "Rocky Balboa," "The 2007 Academy Awards," "The 2007 Grammy Awards" and a live performance opening for the UN World Peace Conference in Washington, D. C. Kathi has enjoyed working with him for the past couple of years.
