Captivating audiences in the Boulder/Denver area with her refreshingly unique indie/pop/folk sound, Kathy is happily being compared to some of her favorite songwriters: Joni Mitchell, Jonatha Brooke, Shawn Colvin. Kathy’s muse weaves the mundane with the metaphysical to form a truly uplifting tapestry of sound and images, encouraging us to: dream big, be unique, love deeply, live gratefully, forgive wholeheartedly, keep the faith, seize the day and embrace the present moment. In short, Kathy's songs remind us of all the things worth remembering.

“The audience favorite seems to be, My Insanity. It seems to soothe people, make them feel it’s okay to be different, unique and make them laugh. The next favorite is Dream probably because it’s one of those “nothing is impossible” kind of songs. In choosing which songs to put on the album I decided to go with an over all theme of positivity and put the songs that had that “feel good” quality. I think people need a vacation from their problems and music can be so uplifting if that’s the intention behind it. Nothing makes me happier than to hear someone say, “Wow, I can’t stop playing your CD, it just feels so good!” That is my main intention for songwriting.”

Beautifully produced, "Dream" includes contributions by Grammy-award winner Les Kahn on the mixing board and three time Grammy winning engineer Tom Wasinger on "Annie Ride" and "I Love You."
