With the release of “Embraceable You”, singer Kathy Williams has collaborated with longtime friend and pianist John Brainard to bring eternal love songs in piano bar style into your living room. As executive producers, this is their third CD. Their first was “Crocodiles and Rainbows” (for kids) and second, “Happily Ever After” (original songs). This latest album, “Embraceable You”, features romantic melodies starting in the 1930’s era of songwriters such as Cole Porter, Irving Berlin, George and Ira Gershwin. Kathy’s love for the “story” of these songs, many written for Broadway musicals, sparkles in the velvet lightness of her voice. John’s teacher, Bill Evans shows in his mastery of jazz and swing style in his arrangements. Kathy and John have performed cabaret style since the 1970’s starting in Cleveland. As an Orange County California resident, Kathy Williams has performed for the Newport Centennial Celebration and other benefits. John Brainard is a working pianist, arranger and producer, residing in Los Angeles. We hope you enjoy these wonderful treasures of music, each one endearing and eternal, remind us of a time when love filled melodies touched our souls.

A great album that gets better with each listening. Personal favorites: "I've Told Every Little Star," "So in Love," "When I Fall in Love," "What Are You Doing for the Rest of Your Life?" The purity of the sound is amazing. You'll remember why people used to love piano bars.
