Album Notes

The real thing, a jazz vocalist....it's JAZZ.

KATIE BULL has sung with jazz/vocalist composer Jay Clayton, and Jay Clayton's Voices, jazz singer Sheila Jordan; composer/pianist Kirk Nurock's Natural Sound; composer Julius Eastman; percussionist Lou Grassi; bass player Joe Fonda (the Bull-Fonda Duo); and pianist Michael Jefry Stevens.

This is Ms. Bull's premiere CD.

Recorded in Chinatown, New York City, at Seltzer Sound. Engineered by Carl Seltzer, live to two track; no fixing, no mixing; what you hear is the real live thing!
Final mastering by Phil Lee at Full House Productions, NYC.

"Keep singing Katie, the jazz world needs you..."
(Sheila Jordan)

Conversations With The Jokers

A jazz vocalist like Katie is very rare. Her albums should be part of any jazz lovers library. A virtuoso, and like Mozart, if you drift off for even a moment you may miss something special. Highly recommend seeing her perform live also, her shows are very unique.
