Katie Evans music is a journey.... A journey of her fears, her pain, her joy, lessons learned, the people in her world, her ups, her downs.... basically her life. This emotion filled solo act takes you on the journey down the roads of life right along with her… A journey through melancholy melodies and lyrics that search for truth in a world of sadness. Her words reflect the experiences that Katie has perceived in her life and in the lives of others. Her music enables you find the beauty in the little things. Her voice has captured that unique quality of a vocal artist that touches the soul and reflects upon lifetime memories.

She grew up in Ohio and moved to Alaska for a three-year adventure where she fine tuned her craft and recorded her first CD, produced by Scot Q. Merry, entitled “A Passing Afternoon.” She is currently residing in Austin, Texas where she plans to take her music to the next level.

To Katie, songwriting is a way of life and her greatest passion is sharing her music and perhaps changing a life along the way.
