Album Notes

Kat Jimenez has been a lifelong lover of music, song, and adventure. When she and Sena, who has an extensive background in reggae and jazz, got together to write, it was instant magic. What became the title song of her first album 'Nothin but Love' was written over one day. They put together a strong band and overnight they went from a two-piece acoustic duo to a five-piece power ensemble, made up of some of LA's best players. That lineup received glowing reviews in music publications and among a building fan base. They have become regulars on Sunset and regularly pack the house all throughout the West Coast.

I was able to see Kat live and her passion for the music hypnotizes you. Her sound is so fresh and powerful it beats anything on the radio. This is a CD I would recommend for any music lover. Every track takes you on a different journey, from reggae to jazz to sounds from around the world. After one listen you will instantly become a Kat missionary.
