* Once in a generation a singing talent of such extraordinary charm appears on the international music scene that the world pauses to listen. From the paddy fields of China to the concert halls of the world comes the magic voice of Katusha Tsui to delight and entertain.

* BIG SKY is proud to present Katusha's debut album, The Homecoming.

* Katusha comes from a small family in Southern China, and at an early age attracted the attention of her first voice coach, Zhang Ru Jun, who introduced her to the Western vocal repertoire. She attended the Hong Kong Academy for the Performing Arts, and after winning a Sir Edward Youde Fund Scholarship she studied Opera at the London Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

* The Homecoming was recorded in Hong Kong and London and features 14 popular folk songs of China. Katusha reaches down deep into her soul in this musical journey to bring these ancient melodies to life. The unique arrangements are by Noel Quinlan, who has sensitively combined these unforgettable melodies with many folk styles from around the world, bringing a truly international feeling to the production.
