My name is Kayley Weller and I am currently 21 years old. I was born in Wales and lived there for two years before moving to Deal, where I have lived ever since.
I first started playing guitar and singing in 2003, after coming off Bruce Springsteen’s Rising Tour. He inspired me so much that I decided to blow my savings and buy a handmade Takamine guitar and from then I knew there was no turning back, I had the rock and roll buzz!! I started writing, and the more I wrote, the more I found it just came naturally to me and I’m really happy that I am finally releasing my debut album ‘Chasing Dreams’.
Chasing Dreams has been in the making for about 3 years. I was at a place where I wasn’t sure what direction I was headed, or what I wanted to do with my life, but no matter what I did I always came back to music. So, i decided to go with that, figured I had nothing to lose, so started writing what was soon to become the start of my first album.
Above all the music is fun and easy to listen to, and underlines a message that I think most people will be able to relate too.
I have had lots of interest shown in my music already, some of which has come from the Californian Highway Patrol. They heard my song 'Long Drive Home and asked if they could use it to go at the start of there new DVD. The video will be shown to around 30,000 people within the United States and Canada. My name will be credited alongside Bruce Springsteen, who's song 'Wreck On The Highway' is also featured on the DVD.
I have been on local radio station KMFM, where I did a live interview and had a song played from my album.
I have also done an interview for local newspaper East Kent Mercury.

Finally, the best (only?) female interpreter of Springsteen covers offering a different point of view and Kayley's originals are genuine in their honesty.

Great album, Kayley! I enjoy the clarity and range of your voice. My favorites.... the title track, Time Goes By, A Fool, Long Drive, and Dream the Night Away. Good stuff!
