Kazutaka ishii is best known for his 2003-2006 stint as Jean Valjean in the Japan prpduction of Les MIserables.His remarkablly soft,clear,inspirational voice fascinated John Caird that let him cast Kazutaka in the part of Marius in 1994.Later, John Caird offered Kazutaka to play Jean Valjean again.

At the openning party of Les Miserables held by Broadway producer Cameron Mackintosh, Kazutaka performed "Bring him home", which was admired by the 2006 Broardway cast of "Les Miserables"."His song is amazingly beautiful and exquisite!"
Now, Lovers of musical theater around the world have an opportunity to listen and enjoy this fantastic performer on his great CD.

There is another side to Kazutaka.He is well known as a singer-songwriter in Japan.He has released 4 CDs that include this CD.
Displaying his musical versifility,Kazutaka composed all the songs from "The secret of the bridemaids" and musical adaptation of an Australian play.This was performed in Japan in 2006.
