Album Notes

This is a four-way split from four artists who have spent the last decade collaborating, touring, and hanging out together. They are currently spread out all over the West Coast, from San Diego to Anacortes, in the northern tip of Washington State. Karl Blau (K Records) brings a dancy, electro-folk aesthetic that is highly influenced by the natural beauty of the Fidalgo Islands.

Gift Machine have a more beach party folk vibe; imagine them sitting on the sand with a guitar and percussion while their buddies are out in the breakers. Graves have a smooth, consistent, turn-of-a-phrase-with-tongue-in-cheek quality that instantly wedges itself in your head for days. Nate Ashley crafts beautiful, brooding, dark, pop songs that meld perfectly with the weather of the Pacific Northwest.
