The San Francisco Bay Guardian once described her as "a lady with an incredibly huge voice that embraces an intriguing dichotomy of toughness and tenderness.... Her voice is rich with the rhythms of a life's travels and experiences...".

You really have a voice in whatever style you choose
I got this one to hear what music you sang after hearing you in Bamboo room in October. Your unique style carries over from one song to another. The more I listen the more I understand the meaning.I like the country singing better than this CD --Altho I liked the song Truth on this CD.
