Album Notes

This is a Raw , Live Recording of KM Williams performing at the LONGHORN BBQ in CEDAR HILL, TEXAS, THe Recording is noisy and busy, people talkin and jukin',cooks cutting meat and making sandwiches;just like at a LIVE JUKE JOINT,BBQ or FISH FRY! Recorded one Hot Texas weekend night,it is a very typical performance of KM's; Juking,Raw,Funky,Soulful,Interaction with the audience and staff,All in All,ONE HECK OF A GOOD TIME! This artist,The Texas Country Blues Preacher, who first received an early guitar lesson from Elmore James at the age of seven, has performed at various clubs, coffeehouses & Festivals around North & Central Texas,Nationally and Internationally. Also opened for or performed on the same bill with such International Blues Stars as Kim Wilson,CeDell Davis,Gary Clark Jr.,The Holmes Brothers, Robert Jr. Lockwood,David "Honeyboy" Edwards, Andrew “Junior Boy” Jones, Mavis Staples & Little Milton. If you like Country Blues & Boogie like John Lee Hooker; Elmore James Or R.L. Burnside, you’ll love KM Williams! - My Texas Music . "We were treated to the wonderful blues stylings of K.M. Williams. It was quite noisy, and not many people seemed to listen, but he was really, really good. I’m kicking myself that I didn’t get a photo of him. I hope to check him out in a quieter, listening venue sometime soon." - Lone Star Mama,

author: Si
This is a very raw sounding cd (sometimes the background noise of doors opening and people chatting is louder than the music!) but don\'t let that put you off as there is some fantastic versions of well known songs like going down south, jump up on the line etc. So turn it up and boogie!

Live Texas Juke Blues!!
author: KM Williams
This is a very REAL-Sounding Recording of one of my typical live, juke BBQ Gigs. I'm Playing my version of a one-man Band ;performing on Guitar or Two String Lowebow, Stompcymbals and Stompboard at the same time. My percussion partner, Washboard Jackson joins me on Three songs. This is the Preacher at his Rawest!
