Album Notes

This CD is more dirty, hard rockin Boogie/Blues performed in the way KM Williams and Washboard Jackson (Trainreck) needs to be heard, LIVE! Trainreck is a two-piece alternative blues/boogie duo. The music hits you hard and leaves you wanting more. On all of Trainreck's feature- length CDs you'll hear familiar new and classic sounds produced in ways you never thought possible. Since the inception of Trainreck in 2002, the duo has niched a small but respectable cult following around the globe.

The band consists of K.M. Williams and Washboard Jackson. K.M. is the engineer of the train, steering it on and off the tracks...You never know where he'll take you next; guitar, and vocals, and writes most of the lyrics. Washboard is the fireman. He feeds the engine with fuel for the soul with his unique percussion/drumming/washboard techniques, using mostly his hands and picks in lieu of drumsticks...his rhythms won't let you forget you are alive!

Trainreck's musical attack will leave you amazed and If you like Live Blues/Boogie Music; this CD is for you! All of these amazing Live performances were recorded over the years 2003- 2006 at various locations in Deep Ellum,Irving & Cedar Hill ,Texas, SO WATCH OUT FOR THAT TRAINRECK! "That guy(Washboard Jackson) kicks some washboard butt along with a drum kit that he plays with his fingers. Him and KM Williams went nuts out in the hot sun for over an hour. KM Williams, by the way is totally kickass. Straight up electrified guitar ala Rev. Overstreet. They called themselves Trainreck. Look for a black guy in a white hat and a white guy with a mohawk and with his fingers all taped up. Strange lookin' pair at first glance, but man those guys get people's feet jumping." It's grand old bluesPrevious review translation)
author: KM Williams for Tonton Erick
It's grand old blues Author: Erick Diard Core KM Williams but there with his buddy to Percussion Washboard Jackson (old battery and simple plate washing) for a music a bit different from his blues alone, that of Trainreck. Music from Boogie blues crade well, although hard, a Boogie blues worthy of Juke in Louisiana and Texas and not another. Music that entry can not let you marble, you like the Tonton or you hate as a buddy of Tonton ... And that's all! (Say, the Tonton, it was his buddy, never really listened correct, worse still drive frankly not attentive, so ...) Do you like because the rough remains well, the wealth of new sounds based on old, the hypnotic, the haunting, do you straighten the hair ... You hate because it is too elementary, too rough that remains without rerecording you can not .... Well you're respectable, but make the effort and you will see you can not resist, you end up by letting you take by the guitar playing of KM, its texts, his voice and his vehement preaching, his musical improvisations unexpected , All amplified by the syncopated rhythm of Washboard Jackson, a guy that never caught off guard by the whims of the preacher, quite the contrary, it seems rather anticipate ... of art! It's grand old blues, the excellent Boogie blues recorded at the discretion of the benefits of the duo between 2003 and 2005, data services to the streets, sometimes in a bar .... Remember when even the great Jimbo Mathus has cracked by listening to play in the streets of Clarksdale think not ...? Normal if he heard what fabulous Boom Boom on the puck. Tonton Erick

Must have raw googie cd
author: Si
A very good follow up to the brilliant \'Live wrekage and classics\' of last year. There is a brilliant version of \'Boom Boom\' played with distorted guitar but highlight has to be the amazing version of \'King Bee\'- Must have if you love raw boogie blues!

C’est du grand old blues
author: Erick Diard
Tonton Erick
