Album Notes

KEViN DYER

Kevin Dyer is a Soul/Folk Singer and Songwriter and has been playing and recording as a solo artist since 2001. It was then he first played a five song set of original material to an expectant crowd in The Murenger House Pub.

It was his poetry and music, stripped down and sung with a raw edge and originality, combined with the blues harp and guitar that captured the audience.

His influences are artists that span the fields of Jazz, Blues and Folk and just like: Curtis Mayfield, Nick Drake, Neil Young, Bob Dylan, Terry Callier, Nina Simone, Beth Orton and Elliot Smith, he strives to make music that touches the soul.

Kevin has performed throughout the U.K, supporting established acts including acid jazz band JTQ, Mick Taylor, Tom Hingley, MPE Band and David Rovics, to
promote his albums 'Time For Conversation' (2002) and 'The Morning Brings A Light' (2005).

Kevin is busy working on writing for a third album that promises to further develop his unique style and deliver more soulfully crafted songs.
