Album Notes

"Spacey pop with a bit of country that goes from intimate and charming to expansive and ominous without batting an eye. Noise guitar meandering mingles with jangly melodies and rolling bass lines."

With the addition of stunning vocalist Dinah Mattick and bluesy guitarist Steve Robinson, the band has emerged as "the most original force in the San Francisco music scene."

The Keeners' lush vocal layering is at times reminiscent of folk, Americana-rock, but blended with driving, R&B-inspired beats and layers of dramatic guitars it forms, well, something cool.

Landscapes was recorded at Tiny Telephone in San Francisco, and produced by John Croslin, Rick Stone and the Automator.
