Good down home tasty cooking in a diry pot!

An emotionally fueled ride back in time where you can just smell the Bloodhounds nippin' at your heals and the hot sticky sweat stinging your eyes. You can almost visualize the many distinct images in this album, such as, the dark but funny "Lectirc Chair" . I can go on, but I want to make this a short review. Intertwined in this straight-forward lovely magnet of mayhem lies beautifully stripped down well-plotted instumentations. The sweet comfort of the "harp", in contrast to the spellbound vocals, bleed through...right into your face. Oh yeah, what also moves me is that fun sliding rhythmic guitar. Well...that just makes me want to start pumpin' ... you know... water from the well. Like I said, it takes you back in time. Now where's that ol' rockin' chair?

The rip roarin' "Bloodhound Blues" and the drunken meditation,"Me and my Gin," stand out as personal favorites. The strength of the recording is Erin Gannon's voice.
