Album Notes

『Praying for world peace
~from Amakusa island to Afghanistan~』
Spiritual improvisational music for world peace using Amakusa ceramic bells & synthesizer. The players are: Yaz, Amakusa ceramic bells & percussion and Keiko Ueda, synthesizer.
We had our first concert in Kumamoto, Japan in 2001. We dedicated this concert to the children of Afghanistan. All of the proceeds from this concert was donated to Dr. Tetsu Nakamura who is working for the people in Afghanistan as a leader of Peshawar-kai.
Amakusa ceramic bells were designed by the Canadian percussionist John Wyer and made by the Maruoyaki ceramic company in Amakusa, Japan.
We recorded this concert, and made our CD entitled: “Praying for world peace ~from Amakusa island to Afghanistan~”.
We are always praying for world peace and live in constant appreciation of the universe as it is.
LOVE & RESPECT.
