With an undeniably unique sound, keithdanieltrio is cooking up energetic tunes with eclectic influences from alternative, pop rock, jazz and even a little funk. This Oklahoma City native 4-piece band employs carefully crafted songwriting/composition to produce a soulful and heartfelt musical experience.

keithdanieltrio is comprised of lead vocalist/pianist Keith Daniel, bassist Sam Kratchmer, drummer Joe Rush and lead guitarist Dimetrius Lavalais. The group has been playing the Oklahoma City club/bar scene for the past three years, developing their playful sound and attracting a consistent following. The group has self-recorded/produced one full-length debut album entitled Honorable Mention, released in 2007 and has performed for the charity event Relay for Life, among other civic events.

Listening to keithdanieltrio, it is clear that this band knows how to have fun, with piano riffs reminiscent of Fiona Apple, lyrics like Jason Mraz and funky bass styles. Keith’s clear, approachable vocals have undertones of Maroon 5 lead singer Adam Levine. Their song “Give me Somethin’,” a catchy and up-beat piece, offers listeners a taste of a musically eclectic palate, incorporating jazz, rock and funk into their high-energy sound.

The keithdanieltrio is hoping to get more exposure by increasing CD sales, performing industry showcases and procuring label interest in the near future. Currently, the group is continuing to perform throughout the Oklahoma City metro area, attracting fans who appreciate their open-minded musical approach.
