Keith Maples is a young, ambitious and extremely talented musician and songwriter who is in the process of advancing his career in this chosen field. Keith was a founding member of the sought after rock band Daze of Haze. He played lead guitar and wrote or co-wrote most of the band’s original songs which won songwriting competitions. He has also recorded and performed with Los Angeles based rock band Avant Guardian Angels, who are quickly gaining admiration in the city of angels. Keith now calls Los Angeles home, and is excited about the opportunities ahead of him in the music industry. He is now performing rock, jazz and blues guitar in both a solo setting and with bands.
Keith was born in Lake Jackson, Texas and grew up in Augusta, Georgia. Keith was very involved in sports until Christmas 2000, when he received his first guitar from “Santa”. Even though his grandmother is an accomplished pianist in Chattanooga, Tennessee, and his dad’s first cousin (Larry Byrom) played lead guitar with rock band Steppenwolf in the 1970’s, Keith had shown no interest in music until he picked up his guitar on Christmas morning. He soon started taking guitar lessons, and advanced at an extremely rapid pace. It didn’t take long for Keith and those around him to realize what he was born to do in life. Keith is now continuing his studies in music while performing at the same time.
Keith has recorded albums with rock bands Daze of Haze and Avant Guardian Angels. He has also honed his live act in various performances in Nevada, California, South Carolina, and Georgia. His studies in music have ranged from finger style guitarist Norton Wade, South Indian percussion maestro Ganesh Kumar, tabla player Sri Debashish Chaudhuri, sarod master David Trasoff, and gypsy guitarist Gonzalo Bergara.

“Keith Maples is an amazing guitar player who performs beyond his years. WOW!” -

Impressive
author: Kate
Very impressive! "Night is Done" sounds the most Stevie-ish to me, but I'd say my favorite is Scuttle Buttin' both for the name and that bad ass riff! Love it.

Fantastic
author: Jeska
All the songs flow really well and sound very smooth and clean. I can definitely hear a Stevie Ray Vaughan influence in your playing :)
