Album Notes
Kelcy Mae was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, on St. Patrick's Day, 1983. Now a resident of New Orleans, Kelcy is pursuing a Master of Fine Arts degree in Poetry from the University of New Orleans. Through her love for music and words, she has created a unique sound that one fan dubbed, "Sexy-Folk-Cuddle-Core-Indie-New-Orleans-Scarf-Rock." She writes from the heart, but mostly the head, and chooses her words with such precision that "hitting the spot" only underestimates the power of her songs. Her story is your story and my story, she just happens to tell it better.
