This music is amazing new-blues. It's lyric-oriented folky-pop-rock-blues with really hoppin' hooky melodies and great gritty vocals. An emerging artist on the scene you have to hear to believe where blues is being taken into this fresh future sound.

Album Notes

Kelley Morris knows exactly who she is as an artist and plans to be the next authentic female blues-belter of her generation. She’s been writing songs for years and has over thirty originals to her credit. Recently, she’s seen a surge in popularity. In 2007, she appeared on the TV show “Community Auditions”, winning two times and competing in the season’s finals. Other career highlights include playing Second-Stage opening for the world famous rocker Melissa Etheridge during the summer of 2008. She’s also shared the stage with classic rocker Rick Derringer and opened twice for recording artist and actress Holly Near.
Kelley Morris & The Fallen Free have a special chemistry that can be heard in their sound. The band’s sound takes blues music and propels it forward to a new modern edge that is rock and blues done in a very original way. They are uniquely versatile in that they can play all the way from soft acoustic blues to a hard, electric, driving rock sound. The sound is smooth and unified; never reflecting individual instruments but rather one shared deep love of the music they’re creating.
Kelley’s music is lyric-driven bluesy folk with a rock edge; with driving beats and hooky melodies that are infectious. In a very authentic way, she fearlessly writes songs that have a universal appeal while at the same time addressing many social issues. With a four octave range and a unique texture to her voice, Morris gives a live performance that is unforgettable.
