Album Notes

A note from the artist:
I was a little girl with a dream. I loved to sing and make up songs performing them for anyone who would listen. This dream continues to grow as my heart grows with living.

I overcame a 5 year battle with an eating disorder. Married a wonderful man. We had a baby boy together when life hit me so hard it knocked my breath out of me. My husband was killed in a car accident and my baby was severely injured.

5 years of grieving, waiting, hoping and clinging to what I knew to be true of God was a forging fire for my heart, more refining than anything I could have imagined.

Now I stand on the other side of this tragedy, standing in its redemption. I’m married again to a wonderful man. I have laid down the title of ‘widow’ and now bear the names ‘beloved’ and ‘redeemed’. Which I now see were names spoken over me all along but the darkness and pain hid this from me.

I write from my heart and I write from the experiences God brings me in and through, writing what I know to be true. Redemption comes from Him alone, it’s nothing we can earn. My life sings of this reality. Therefore I will not keep silent.
