Album Notes
Rich, warm vocal textures caress songs from the Great American Songbook as well as pop and jazz standards when Ireland's Ken Byrne pays honor to his favorite performers such as legends Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Antonio Carlos Jobim and Bob Marley.

Style and charm create the Ken Byrne signature sound... a swing that commands toe-tapping and a voice that smacks of Sinatra with an attitude of fellow countryman Bono.

The handsome, tuxedo-clad crooner, with colorful tattoos peeking out from under his cuff links, will be the first to tell you that there are two worlds at play in his music, classic and contemporary.

The Rat Pack may have influenced his sense of song, but that doesn't stop him from incorporating other styles in his repertoire. The crowds are ecstatic when he sings Flo-Rida's "Apple Bottom Jeans" before slaying them with a standard.

His musical inspiration runs deep... from jazz standards to traditional Irish folk to rock and roll. Ken continues to seek out new music from all over the world and often discovers talent on YouTube and Facebook. His iPod spins eclectic, with favorites from Adele, Paddy Casey, Loreena McKinnitt, Michael Bublé and The Dubliners.

The 30-year cruise industry veteran performs in front of thousands of guests each week as "The Singing Maître d'' on board the largest ocean liners in the world... the craic is mighty!
