Sarah Hearn, DC Gospel Music Examiner: Kendall King showed her range of musical styles during an electrifying concert at her CD Release Party on Sunday. The sold-out event was attended by fans and peers from across the DC metro area. They came to hear songs from her new CD, “Faithful”. The event was held at The Carlyle Club, an elegant venue with fine dining. It was quite fitting for a memorable night of music ministry by the talented artist.

After setting the atmosphere, Kendall, who wrote every song on the CD except one that she co-wrote with her nephew Tashaun, gave the crowd what they were waiting to hear. She showcased many songs from “Faithful”, including “A love Song”, “In His Presence”, “Enter In” and “Hold On”. The radio single “Crazy Praz” was exuberant and the audience was actively engaged. The song brought many in the audience to their feet with its infectious words and beats. Kendall encouraged the audience to “try the Word because the Word is true”.
