Songwriter, Kenekie Williams is a singer to be recognized. Kenekie's Angelic and Commanding voice are coupled with messages that move the heart and soul. Her new CD, "Faithful" is sure to reach diverse audiences with Contemporary, Christian Lyrics, some upbeats and Latin that creates memorable musical collages. Throughout Kenekie’s life she has sung from the heart, and she expresses God’s love and care through song. Her singing style has been compared to CeCe Winans, Whitney Houston and Mariah Carey. When Kenekie was just six years old, she had already said that when she grew up she wanted to be a singer. Kenekie Williams was born in Montgomery, Alabama. She has grown up in different parts of the world such as: Panama and Germany, because her father served in the Military. Her sound is universal and gets the attention of nationalities and ages of all kinds. She now resides in Metro Atlanta, Georgia. Kenekie is a Professional Member of Gospel Music Association (GMA) and is an ASCAP Song Writer and Publisher Member. Kenekie worked with Bill Rogers, an accomplished Musician, Producer and Founder of Way2 Be Music International. They recorded with God’s anointing her CD project titled “Faithful” that was just released. Kenekie was featured on WATC TV 57, The Gospel Touch Show, where she was interviewed and sung a couple songs off her new CD. She was also featured on Atlanta Live WATC TV 57 on a two hour show singing songs from the CD. Kenekie was a special guest at The Best of Sweet Auburn Revue 2011 and sung at many church conferences. A write up of accolades was done on her in the Sweet Auburn A&E Network Newsletter. She is featured in Cross Roads News paper for her participation in a women’s empowerment conference. Kenekie also featured on WIGO “The Light” 1570 radio program with Kevin’s Highway to Heaven show, where she was interviewed and songs from the CD were played and will be played in circulation. Kenekie is going to London, England and Africa upon request. Kenekie has sung at many weddings, festivals, special events such as graduations, promotion and retirement ceremonies of Colonels in the U.S. Army, military functions and church events. Through all the singing engagements, she has ministered to people in song with the Lord as her guide! She has graduated with a Bachelor in Business Administration in Healthcare Management and is the founder of her business, Love PerformingArts Productions. Kenekie is also an Actress and Performing Arts Dancer. She has more dreams for the future. Her new CD "Faithful" encourages people to keep the faith through hard times. God has been Faithful and we should be Faithful to Him. As an adult virgin, Kenekie knows it is GOD that helps her to be faithful. She is going forward in the Gospel music industry and is excited about what lies ahead. Kenekie has a strong love for God and recognizes that her talent of singing and songwriting are gifts from God. Kenekie’s mission involves “Ministering God’s Word in Song, Word and Deed/Acts of Love.”
