ABOUT THIS ALBUM

Album Notes
The song "Why" grapples with our search for something ultimately enduring and satisfying in a life filled with fluctuation. Can this be accomplished? "Still You" is a re-commitment song with a twist. Both songs were recorded live in the studio. Andrew Carillo, guitarist from Joan Osborne, lent a hand (or two); Graham Maby, Joe Jackson's bass player, did likewise; and notable Manhattan session drummer Rich Mercurio and recording artist and producer Marc Ribler (guitar, etc.) rounded out the enterprise. Ken says: "My music and my psychological practice embrace similar themes: hope, courage, and discovery in the face of pain. Cynicism would keep us stuck in our pain; idealism would have us avoid it. The light at the end of the tunnel needn't be limited to an oncoming train or just wishful thinking". He also says: "I hope you derive as much pleasure from listening to this as we did in making it".
