Album Notes

A warm, mellow musical experience best describes this compilation in composer Ken Myers' music for film series of releases.Adventures in laid back ambient electronics with a touch of new age and other genres, take you to another place. A peaceful, wonderful place where melodic musical lines surround you, far from the maddening crowd.

Ken Myers' passion for music, and his ability to blend 'just the right sounds' to produce meaningful instrumental tunes which invite the listener to 'relax, meditate, and take in the imagery' as each track unfolds. In his sixth release of his 'music for film series' this CD leads you from the worldly groove of "World Traveler" to the laid back and inspiring track "Focus", utilizing electronic as well as acoustic instruments (cello, violin, and full strings).

Originally a producer of R&B and smooth jazz pieces (with a new compilation of tracks in that genre set for release in 2011), Myers' fondness for all genres of music allows him the freedom to mix things up in a way he hopes will keep his audience listening (much like a film score with many types of music throughout) while still maintaining his trademark style of arrangements within the theme of the release. His works have been licensed for independent film projects, and have touched the hearts of listeners from across the globe.
