Bio of Kenny Carr

Kenny Carr is known as one of the world's premier soulful jazz trombonists. Kenny is the original recording artist of shout band music internationally, with such instrumentation as the sousaphone, bass horn, trombone, drums, trumpet and the piano. Kenny a native of Charlotte, North Carolina has been said to be soulful jazz's best kept diamond.
His music adventure began at the early age of six, when he began playing the trumpet in the church band. He continued to pursue other instruments such as the drums, baritone, bass horn and the piano; he never ceased to amaze the thousands of people listening to him while he played. Kenny later decided to pursue his professional career as a soulful brass trombonist, as a result of this decision Kenny and his group The Tiger's became known as a bona fide fresh sound in the music world. Throughout his career he has shared the stage with some of the world's greatest musicians, Ramsey Lewis, Wycliffe Gordon, Jonathan Butler, Vickie Winans, John P. Kee and Gladys Knight. Kenny's music has gained him international news and press; he was featured on NPR's All Things Considered, The Brass Journal News of Switzerland, ITEC International brass Journal of Budapest, Hungary and BET (Black Entertainment Television).
Finally, the word is out, DT8:18 Entertainment presents another smash hit by Kenny Carr entitled Sound The Alarm. This CD is a must for any music lover, the instrumentation and melodies will take you where you've never been before; the music on this CD will be an experience that will be truly unforgettable.

Proud of you
What a blessing it is to here the music outside of the HOP. However Kenny i do beleive there is nothing like doing in the HOP. Still, may God continue to bless you, through his present day servant, Precious Daddy Madison.
