Kenny MacKenzie Trio have been playing together since 2000. Kenny lives on Long Island while most of the other players live in NYC. They’ve held lengthy stays at some of NYC’s most esteemed jazz venues including Arthur’s Tavern, Louis Bar and Café Creole, also making appearances at Triad, Kavehaz and Birdland. The lineup is a rotating roster of some of the finest and most notable musicians in the area including Yoni Halevy (Arnie Lawrence, The Apples), Ray Parker (Kurt Rosenwinkel, Irish Tenors, Maynard Ferguson), Nathan Peck (Alex Skolnick Trio), Mike Savino (Kate Havnevik, The Nation Beat), Chris Higginbottom (Erin Bode, Brendan James) & Zaid Shukri (Wycliffe Gordon).
