___________________________________________________________
Well, he’s back and singing on his own record label, Ken Rondell Records. It has been a long journey to get to this time and place, but if you have ever heard of Ken Rondell, you know his reputation as an incredible singer precedes him.
Ken Rondell was a military man, stationed in Heidelberg, Germany from 1978 to 1981. While there, he quickly got on board and formed a ten piece show band named The Country Rock Review. Their first performance was at the recreation center on Christmas Eve. Ken gave a great show that night. The house was packed! Both Americans and Germans alike loved his music, but his work had only just begun. Ken Rondell was voted "#1 Elvis sound alike". Notice that I didn’t say “impersonator”. This boy was good. How good? Publicity generated from TV interviews in Berlin, East Germany, and the Stars and Strips news sent record sales soaring! His songs "It’s Only a Dream" and "I Call Your Name" dazzled music lovers and hit the top ten on the record charts in Germany, Belgium, and Denmark for weeks...Ken says they weren’t much to talk about. It seems like the fans disagree!
Later on, Ken Rondell toured in the states for awhile. He was the front man for greats like Hank Williams, Jr. and Merle Haggard, but knew he had to stop and raise his family (kids). During this time, something wonderful happened to Ken. He met and accepted Jesus Christ as his Lord and Savior. God said, “Seek My face, turn from your wicked ways, and I will heal your land.” WOW!! Look what the Lord has done!
Ken is now married to his wife, Cindy Garrett (Winkles), a gifted singer. They compose and write songs to tell about the love and hope to be found in Jesus Christ.
So, here it is! Ken Rondell’s first recording since Germany on his own record label and his first Christian CD "Meet My Friend". This CD gives a glimpse into the heart of the new and transformed Ken Rondell. GET READY TO BE BLESSED!!
All proceeds from CD sales go toward ministry purposes.

I had some great times Rocking and playing Bass Guitar in Ken's Band during the late 1970's in Germany, and enjoyed producing him doing my Country Blues Songs that are for sale here at http://www.cdbaby.com/cd/bigran on my own Record Label in 1996! After listening to this cd I would have to say this cd is the best recording Ken has ever made! Keep on keeping on my man! Your still the greatest Ken! God bless you!
