Ken began playing guitar at age 13 and has never looked back. Inspired by guitarists as diverse as Jimi Hendrix, Jimmy Page, Joe Satriani, Steve Vai and Yngwie Malmsteen, Ken has crafted a guitar style that spans generations.
Mixing elements of hard rock, heavy metal and blues, he walks a tightrope between emotionally filled guitar playing with flashes of virtuoso playing, creating a style that is uniquely his own.
Ken spent several years in the LA Based metal band Cut Throat, releasing two cds with that band...1998's self titled debut "Cut Throat" and 2001's "Slave" cd. In 2003 Ken released his first solo cd, the all instrumental cd "One".
"Nevermore" follows in the footsteps of One, but takes it to the next level. A diverse offering, it still retains a singular style that is uniquely his own.

NEVERMORE / Ken Snyder
Independent Release 2005
After blowing me away with his debut release, ‘One’. Guitarist Ken Snyder serves up his sophomore release, ‘Nevermore’ and just like he did the first time around he has succeeded in blowing me away once again! ’Nevermore’ is a must-have for fans of great guitar playing. Musically, every track is engaging and pure energy. Ken Snyder demonstrates total command and control of the instrument, demonstrating stellar chops, and phrasing that most musicians can only hope to achieve. Which he brilliantly displays on tracks like the opening, “Dream Chaser”, “Battle Cry” and the mind blowing, “Edge Of Delirium”. I love the passion and emotion, the complexity--[listen to those lightning fast runs--WOW! If you are a musician, you can not help but admire and appreciate this music!] every song is entirely impressive, I could listen to it on repeat all day. Compositions like this don’t come around very often. If you're a guitar player or someone who enjoys good music ‘Nevermore’ by Ken Snyder is a MUST HAVE! Whoa! What a rush! - The Atomic Chaser, ALL ACCESS MAGAZINE

Appreciate someone who knows what he's doing.

I purchased all the CD's by this guy over the years, because I think he's been around the block and understands music appreciation. Also, I think he is an artist in lieu of a performer - somewhat difficult to find these days. Keep up the work my friend, you have another loyal follower. When is the next CD?
