Album Notes

Holden Tunes is a collection of gospel tunes sung by the brother-duet, honey-tongued duo, Kent Gustavson and Micah Schonberg.

Kent Gustavson's debut album with his trio, Stolen Shack, was featured on National Public Radio's All Songs Considered. Their debut album together has been featured all over the world on folk, bluegrass and country radio, peaking at #2 on the country radio charts in Australia, and #34 in Europe.

Enjoy these gritty and beautiful tunes, not quite pretty, but sung with a sweetness only found in nature.

These tunes were recorded in Holden Village, a retreat center where both Gustavson and Schonberg were employed as cooks, up in the wilderness of Washington state.
