Album Notes

Born in southeastern Louisiana on January 29, 1974, Ken comes from a Christian family of old-time southern gospel singers and has been influenced by a variety of different styles of music. Gospel, country, jazz, zydeco, and creole have provided the foundation for the music he so loves and performs today. Around the age of three, Ken found his voice while listening to grandpa sing, watching his dad pat his foot and grin as the music drifted through the air at their small country church for an all day singing and dinner on the ground. Joy, laughter, and love are the environment where the roots of his music began. He has mastered a wide range of music but has developed a refreshing vocal style with a blend of country and southern gospel sounds all his own.

Ken is the lead vocalist for a seven piece working band routinely playing on the local and regional level for venues booked from Northern Virginia to Maryland, through 2006. His unique voice, winning personality, and generous nature have attracted quite a following of fans. He loves to play his music at country music festivals and fairs, donates performances to raise money for cancer research, and enjoys acoustic sessions with local senior communities. Ken has performed for and is very comfortable with crowds of one to 3000. He has the ability to interact and emotionally energize the fans.

For the past fifteen years, Ken has been a resident of Virginia. Currently, he has served the community as a volunteer Firefighter and Emergency Medical Technician since the age of 16. Even with his busy schedule he still enjoys time spent with his mom, dad, his two sisters and their families. Next to his music, his passion is caving, snow skiing, and snowboarding with his friends.

Over the years, Ken has nurtured a deep love for country music. He continues to win the crowds he performs for, while always remaining true to his music and his fans.
