Opening with the infectious anthem "Karmas a Boomerang", "Waltz for Venus" takes the listener on a journey full of humor, spirituality, romance, and ultimately hope. An album for the listener who enjoys real meaning in lyrics, the eclectic style of "Waltz for Venus" comfortably visits a wide variety of musical flavors: songs with lush orchestral strings, catchy pop-rock tunes, folky feel-good numbers, a titch of spoken word, a bit of hard rock and even a Cajun-style Ho-Down. The sounds on the record have been compared to early REM, Sting, Peter Gabriel, Pink Floyd and Bob Dylan, but retain an originality that remains Ken Webb. "Waltz for Venus" is an album about reaching out into the darkness and discovering, with a leap of faith, "It will be OK."
