Kerri Crocker has a smile that's contagious and a heart that SHINES out loud for the Lord! Although she sings like an angel, if asked to describe herself she'd say, “I’m just a simple girl who has a heart for the Lord and a desire to share the gifts He has given me with the world!”

At any of Kerri’s concerts you will hear the scripture verse Matthew 5:16. Let your light shine before men, that they may see your good deeds and praise your Father in heaven. Kerri says, "I want to let my light shine so that Christ continues to shower His blessings upon me and I, in turn, can bless others with the encouragement and love that He has so freely given. I want to be that light to someone, whether it’s with a smile or singing a simple song about Christ’s love for us.

With a voice and a mission from Christ, singer/songwriter Kerri Crocker began this journey in Oct 2005 releasing her first CD Shine. In this short time, she has already gained the momentum and recognition from her peers to confirm this is truly God’s calling. Surrendering her pen to the Holy Spirit led her to work with producer Kyle Lee (Pocket Full of Rocks) which resulted in the creation of the awesome freshman project that is already receiving radio spins in both the Christian and secular markets.
Kerri is a member of the web community IndieHeaven.com where she has been nominated for Female Vocalist of the Year and Song of the Year with 'Time', the title track of her forthcoming CD. Each song Kerri sings tells a story that people can relate to and provides encouragement through the truths of God’s Word. From a young age she listened and looked up to Christian artists like Amy Grant, Twila Paris, Susan Ashton, Rich Mullins and Dallas Holm. Now little girls are listening to Kerri and dreaming the same thing: that one day maybe they can live out the desires of their hearts and sing for Jesus!! This is coming full circle... this is Kerri's Gilgal.

Crossing the boundaries of the church, Kerri has taken the message of Christ to lost and hurting people and is actively involved in raising awareness that believers should "Pray for a Cure for Cancer™.” Her first track 'I Wanna Live' is inspired by and dedicated to victims of cancer (and this is just one song that will play the strings of your heart... there are 11 more). She is frequently involved in benefits to raise money for cancer research, women’s and children’s causes.

Talking with Kerri One-on-One We Learn…
“…This is my first project and I have been very humbled and awed by the whole experience. I used to feel rather satisfied singing in my bathroom, just me and God. But there comes a time when we have to step out of that comfort zone and let HIM take the reigns. I couldn't be all God wanted just praising Him behind closed doors... I had to shine!
Matthew 5:14-16 says ‘You are the world's light - a city on a hill, glowing in the night for all to see. Don't hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.’ I am blessed to have this opportunity to shine for Him.

For those of you who don't know me, here are a few facts: I am married to my high school sweetheart, have 2 children and work in a family business. I am very tender-hearted and if you cry around me, I always seem to join in. My favorite food is candied yams and my favorite book is THE BIBLE. I pray you use the talents that God has given you for His glory. His timing is perfect and His ways are always right.”

This life is so short and the harvest is so great. Whether a women's retreat, church-wide or youth event, Kerri is an awesome tool of the Lord edifying people through both song and testimony!
