KESHIA MCFARLAND Keshia McFarland is a Vocalist, songwriter and producer. She is a native of Chicago, IL where she began singing at an early age in the “Junior Choir” of the Unity Fellowship M.B. Church where her father, Dr. Charles Williams is Pastor. Coming from a very musical family, it took Keshia no time to start a life of singing and recording with such notable artists as Ricky Dillard and the New Generation Chorale and Walt Whitman and the Soul Children Of Chicago. It was during this time she was afforded the opportunities to travel abroad touring several cities across the United States, Italy, England, and Israel. Keshia relocated to Atlanta, GA where she connected with a professional pool of background singers, performing both live and recording in the studio. Keshia’s excitingly strong soprano voice has warranted her opportunities to sing for artists such as R. Kelly, George Huff, Nicole Mullen, Darwin Hobbs, Lacrecia Campbell, Christopher Lewis, La Shun Pace, Ted & Sheri, Byron Cage, Mariah Carey and many more. Keshia McFarland’s dedication and heartfelt performances captured the heart of CEO and Producer of Frontline Entertainment, Christopher Lewis. In January 2005 Keshia signed with Frontline Entertainment to release her debut album “Covergirl”. The album expresses her personal testimonies of affirmation and triumph over battles with low-self-esteem and accepting the unconditional love and power of God. Keshia McFarland introduces the sounds of “Churban Music” on her new cd. Churban Music encompasses the soul of traditional church music with an urban twist.
