Album Notes

Marianne's musical style is an eclectic mixture, combining elements of folk & of rock. Her 1994 CD, a collection of very personal writings From The Heart, came as the result of many requests for her original songs. Most are recorded with the vocals center stage, and the acoustic guitar & other instruments in the background, giving the project an intimate "coffeehouse" feel.

This was a first project in terms of a full recording of Marianne's original material. It is very much of a diary in song. Some of the music has been left purposely "naked" to re-create the intimacy of a solo singer-songwriter in concert. "The Outlaw" by Larry Norman is the sole cover.
