Album Notes
It's been almost 10 years since Kevin Allred's last album, and "Brave (Songs: 2005-2012)" marks an intimate and triumphant return to music for Allred. These songs were recorded in his home studio and are meant to sound like Allred is playing these songs for you right in your living room.

"I get so sick of the overproduced music that dominates the radio, so I wanted to make something simple and true - songs that sometimes have imperfections and that will hopefully make you feel something," says Allred of the new recording.

This is definitely my favorite Album Allred has done to date. I can't turn it off, I have listened to nothing else since I purchased it a week ago. You MUST buy this album. . . .AMAZING!!!!!

Great new release
I've followed Kevin's music for a long time now, and I was really excited when I found out he was releasing a new album. After buying Brave, I wasn't disappointed. He has a great collection of songs; each one feels like a story he's telling to the listener personally. A great album for any folk fan. Highly recommend.

This album has been playing for hours now and I can't stop listening. It's as if he's tapped into every love I've ever had or lost. Soulful, addictive, to be enjoyed with a sweater and a whiskey.

An exploration of relationship emotions
think that this has to be my most favorite album by Kevin Allred. Once again, the mix of guitar and vocals blends well together. Each song tells an emotional story ranging from fearing loss, being lied to, leaving someone, as well as all of the emotional scars tied to these emotions. Scars would have to be my favorite of this album. The thing that I like most about Kevin's music is that he lays it all out on the line for you. You can relate to a lot of the emotions in his songs which makes them so real. I also enjoyed the song "Then you came" which talks about feeling alone and down before someone comes along to lift you up. This album is definitely worth listening to!

Waited a long time for this cd and it did not disapoint. It's early in 2013 yet but I'm sure this will be the best CD I buy this year. Absolutely love it. You should get this CD!
