Commissioned by the legendary Joe Boyd, this album celebrates Kevin's love of his wide musical landscapes. Each song has a paricular groove that helps makes Kevins recordings so unique. This is very uplifting music and many of his fans play this on a regular basis to help them through the day. Using multitracing , Kevin plays all the stringed instrument on this album. His colleague, engineer and producer Steve Smith added wonderfull strings, piano and hammond organ to help give the tracls their own individual groove. Inspired by African and Polynesian music as well as Celtic and North American genres Sunny Side Up plays a pivotal role in the recording career of Kevin Brown, chill out but groovy too .
