"Kevin Earley's debut album "Earley Standards" is one you can listen to over and over again wondering why some major record company hasn't discovered this crooner with a voice simultaneously soulful, powerful, jazzy, relaxed and warm. Earley's undeniable talent is perfectly accompanied by Gerald Sternbach who never overplays while producing the perfect musical balance to Earley's renderings of classic favorites. Special mention must be made of drummer Ian Wallace who duos with Earley on 'Fascinating Rhythm/I Got Rhythm', as well as guitarist J. Curtis and bassist Mike Fratantuno, accompanying Earley's velvet sound on delicious versions of 'Sophisticated Lady' and 'I've Got You Under My Skin'."

"Earley Standards", the debut album from critically acclaimed singer/songwriter/actor Kevin Earley features classic songs from such immortals as Duke Ellington, Cole Porter, and George Gershwin. Critics have hailed Kevin as "peerless, a brilliant singer and actor who is overdue for major stardom". Earley's Broadway credits include "Thoroughly Modern Millie" and "Les Miserables" and he has made frequent guest appearances with the California Philharmonic and at the Hollywood Bowl.
Kevin says, "The Standards have always brought a little joy to my heart and I hope they will to yours. We were so lucky to assemble a talented and eclectic group of musicians to achieve a unique sound for this album. I think they have taken these songs to the next level by 'keeping it simple'. This debut CD is for my entire family from Chicago, NYC, Alabama, Tennessee, California and to anyone who ever asked me, "Do you have a CD?" I can now say "Yes, yes I do!"
