Welcome to “THE MUSIC WITHIN” my first CD. As a mostly self-taught, acoustic fingerstyle guitarist this CD is both a reflection of my musical ‘roots’ and an expression of the music I’m currently exploring and composing.
There are several purely acoustic, solo fingerstyle tunes here – just me, a guitar, and a couple of good mics.
Some others are composed/arranged in the classic guitar/bass/drum trio style.
Finally, others are orchestrated with a new instrument I’m exploring, the guitar synthesizer. I can finally play the music I “hear in my head” and have it voiced as a sax, muted trumpet, string section etc . Amazing !
